I don't know the details about why he was ultimately ruled eligible, but the kid did not move and should have had to sit out 1 calendar year per the LHSAA constitution.
Attendance zone would mean out of parish correct? Lamar Louis was going to transfer from Breaux Bridge HS to Teurlings for his senior year and would not be allowed for the same reason.

No need to worry. LCA's athletics will get shut down before too long. Not to mention, nobody around here will play them anymore after all this illegal stuff this yr.

Well, attendance zones can even be within a parish. Lamar's situation was a little different, but ultimately he was going to be denied eligibility at TCH and did not want to risk losing a hardship appeal, which would have caused him to miss his senior year.

However, according to the LHSAA, nothing illegal took place. They rarely have the backbone to make a ruling and stick with it. The association is mostly at fault for the rift between public and private in my opinion.

Not sure if they were being sarcastic, but the Cajuns beat McNeese by 33 points in December. Isn't that where the twins are going?

I played for the team 15 years ago. The idea that someone would use profanity was completely out of the question. Suggestive gestures and body language and all the other crap they've been doing recently would have never been tolerated by the coach, much less the administration. And that's just the on the court BS. From all accounts, it's much worse off of it.

You can't claim to be this up standing mega Christian entity, but then have your sports teams respredent the opposite; and then tolerate it. I'm not a moralist, I'm just calling out the hypocrisy.

Geez, you're not even good at being a smartass. Give it up.
Damn. I didn't realize LCA has been around for 15 years.

Just a guess on my part, but possibly they used what I call the "West Monroe" rule. Give your chosen studly athlete's parent a job at the school. Then it doesn't matter where they live, they can go to school and be immediately eligible where the parent works.

Brady James: defensive MVP in 4A at Neville as a junior. Defensive MVP in 5A at West Monroe as a senior. He did not move, but his mom got a job at WM, either as a janitor or as a lunchroom worker.
