Wiggins is better in their scheme and several others they. Slaughter is not a target. Gossett is definitely a steal should he sign.

Take a look at the class of 2012. Its safe to judge now in 2016. Not one of these guys made the ALL-SBC. HUD had a great class in his first year, and he has benefited greatly from it, but we have seen a lot of misses also. A lot of his recruits don't even make it to campus.

HUD better hit with this class, especially on the top half of it or we will see more 4-8 seasons.

Trust me guys, we have depth issues. This class is pivotal.

Academic scholarships from the school count; TOPS or other scholarships or grants from most sources outside the school do not.

Attrition took a heavy toll on this team and is the main reason for our down year. If we had most of those guys on our roster this year we'd have won more games. We have a lot of young talent and it's going to show next season.

Many of them were good players, they just weren't around to help us last year.

If the majority of the stars Baldwin signed played he would have done better. Hud's gotta start hitting quality in the clas, ethical behavior, and on the field talent.

I guess I have to ask, what is the story with Masen Mitchell, according to Maxpreps he rushed for 1615 yards adn 25 TD's last year. Including a 6.3 yards per carry average for Chalmette last year. He averaged 161.5 yards per game including 8 games over 100 yards and two of those over 200 yards vs East Jefferson and Wiggins. He also had 96 vs St Thomas Aquinas, he only had one pedestrian game vs Holy Cross where he rushed for 40 yards. He had 6 TD's vs West Jefferson and 191 yards. I thought maybe it was size, but he is 5'10 190 lbs. He is ranked as the #63 ranked RB in Louisiana. He also caught 10 passes for 144 yards which is a 14.4 yard per catch average. The only negative I can see is that he had 5 fumbles and lost 4 of them last year. But to me it seems like he would have gotten more looks than a Walk on with us. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to have him, but could he have not gotten a mid major scholarship or even a full ride to a FCS school based on his size and numbers, or did he just want to play for us?
