103. Louisiana, Ragin' Cajuns, Sun Belt
The Ragin' Cajuns didn't get into the Sun Belt title hunt with a disastrous final month keeping them out of the bowl picture. Three of the four wins were Bad Wins, with the lone decent one not all that great beating Georgia State on the road. The Bad Loss to New Mexico State at home was horrendous, and the 41-17 loss to Troy to close out the season was unforgivable.

I view this as a positive. Coach will be able to use this low ranking as a motivational tool. He has said the team needs to play once again with a chip on their shoulder. That approach worked in 2011.

It sure didn't work last year. We were picked at 102 last year.

Don't know why they had to use such a complex formula to figure out that we suck. Everyone kind of knew that already.

So we were picked 128 in 2011 and had a great season finishing in top forty.

Then in 2015 we were picked 102 to start the season and went down from there.

Clearly we need to now totally discount preseason ratings as we have two from thousands of predictions that are in total disagreement about predicted vs actual.
