i wouldnt cap our seating at anything under 8,000. we were under .500 4 years ago and have a crowd of larger than 8,000. so a 4-5000 seat facility is short sighted. i think it needs to be around 8000
5000 puts a value on the ticket, it would increase season ticket sales. If we ever get really good and exciting you could possibly sell out with season ticket holders and have a secondary ticket market increasing the value of every ticket. Why build something for crowds we have had a few times? Build something that would be packed almost every night for a true home court advantage.
We aren't duke...8,000 seat stadium...at least 2,000 empty seats nightly during the best of years. People were certainly going that year because we were winning but people forget the doors were basically open. If you brought a beard you got in free, kids under 12 free, if you could whistle you got in free. We really need something 1300 less than duke???
