Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns put their undefeated Sun Belt record at the Cajundome on the line when they host Troy on Saturday, Jan. 23.
● The Cajuns also seek to knock off a Sun Belt division leader for the second time in as many weeks. Last week, UL defeated then-SBC West leader Denver on Jan. 14.
● Louisiana has won three of its last four contests - the second such streak of the season (did so Dec. 5-19).
● The visiting team has enjoyed the most recent success in the UL-Troy series, winning the last four meetings. The last home team to win was UL on Jan. 20, 2007.
● The game will feature three of the Top 10 scorers in the Sun Belt - league-leader Brandon Hazzard of Troy (18.3 ppg) and UL's Tyren Johnson (15.8 ppg) and Chris Gradnigo (14.9). Gradnigo is averaging 21.0 points per game in January.
● The home team has won the past six games the Ragin' Cajuns were involved in. The last road team to win was Centenary on Dec. 28 in the Cajundome.
● Chris Gradnigo has started January in the same fashion he did a year ago. In the first three weeks, he is averaging 21.0 points per game and shooting 41-of-76 (54 percent). Last year, he averaged 16.6 points and shot 52 percent (45-of-87) during the first three weeks of January.
● Gradnigo has reached 800 career points and enters tonight's game with 904. If he sustains his 14.9 points per game average he would register career point No. 1,000 on Feb. 13 at South Alabama.
