A complete and utter disaster. Anyone who was involved should not be able to work in Louisiana athletics ever again.
Took someone THREE years to figure that out???? Sorry, does not pass the sniff test when it comes to "nobody knew".
Good.
Now let's hope cooler heads prevail and they come up with a reasonable solution to all this.
Awesome.
Great day for high school athletics in Louisiana.
Sad day for supposed, adult legislators.
Now, if we could just get back to 4 classes.....
IMO a team should always be able to move up. The four and five A teams need to suck it up west Monroe always having multiple FBS talent without recruiting is just a silly belief.
If they were smart they'd make an "elite" class and let anyone who wants to play "elite" football play in that class. Boom, just like that JC and Evangel are out of everyone's hair, and the teams that can consistently compete at that same level like West Monroe can join in.
I guess this means no more hiding in the lower weak private school divisions for some schools.
