You know it's bad when your team isn't getting the fans worked up for losing.
The Cajuns are actually 3-8.
I hate that our mantra for football and basketball is...forget about our terrible losses...we can still make a bowl or the conference tourney. That's such a bad way to operate. That doesn't sound like learning from mistakes, it sounds like diminishing them.
______...I was supposed to be positive this year.
Well they keep sending BS messages.
When will a coach say, "get off your asses and start playing ball". You suppose to be talented so start playing like you are......
Prerequisites for Football/Basketball Coaches at UL:
Start the season slow, you don't want expectations to rise to quickly.
Whatever strategy you start the season with, stay with it, no matter what.
Pretend your team is on the verge of a breakout, no matter what you actually looked like during the game.
State goals that are still attainable, lower them as the season goes along.
In the offseason, proclaim that it's going to be different next year, even though it will look the same.
Use the injury excuse as often as you can, or whatever excuse comes to mind, ie; APC move
