But, it needs to be said.

If Coach Whitt gets facetime on College Gameday, why, oh why, would we send him out there on national television, on one of the most watched programs on ESPN, with anything other than a shirt that had LOUISIANA on it?

Wow I know I suggested he apologize for his cursing, but I didn't mean on national TV.

Yes, you seem petty.

I have absolutely NO PROBLEM with "Ragin' Cajuns" being seen on his shirt. It's one thing to complain about Lafayette being in the logo on his shirt... but to start complaining that "Ragin' Cajuns" isn't good enough to be the brand of our school as seen by the Nation... then at that point... you have lost your grip on reality.

Turbine, Whitt may have over stepped his boundary but the media in Monroe violated what is supposed to be a cooling off period right after a game ends. He was confronted right after he finished his interview with Stevie P. which is allowed because they are the UL Network, but no other media outside ESPN or CST are suppose to interview the Coach until after the cooling off period. Whitt took exception to what was said when those reporters broke the rule and confronted Hudspeth on the football field. Two wrongs don't make a right, but that is the reality of it.

You are asking the wrong question my friend. The question is why would we want to show the rest of the world his training methods. Coach Whitt is the best kept secret we have when he gets seen across the country he will be offered money that we can not afford to pay a strength and conditioning coach. He will be missed.

He has already turned down two jobs that would have paid him more over the past year.
