The University of Louisiana Lady Cajuns will look to add to the win column against Troy on Saturday afternoon.
•The Trojans lead the overall series 4-3, having tallied four consectutive victories over UL.
•The Cajun women fell to Troy three times last season, including a 65-68 loss at the Sun Belt Tournament in Hot Springs, Ark.
•The Trojans come to Louisiana on a two-game skid, failing to South Alabama and Western Kentucky over the past week.
•In UL's win over UNO, three Cajuns reached double figures, including Jasmine Barnes who hit the game winner with 22.5 seconds remaining and finished with a game-high 14 points.
•The Cajuns have averaged 61.5 ppg this year and 56.7 in the Sun Belt.
•The Trojans are averaging 65.1 ppg on the season and 64.8 ppg in league play.
The Cajuns have proven that they are a different team in the second half. Their field goal percentage improves in the second frame from .354 to .393. From beyond the arc, UL is shooting .254 compared to .194 in the first frame. From the charity stripe, the Cajuns are knocking down 69 percent of their baskets compared to 67.3 in the first half.
For Whom the Bell Tolls
Lyndra Bell had a career night in the win over North Texas.
The junior forward scored 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including a 4-for-4 performance from the charity stripe.
It was the second time this season Bell has set a new career high in a game.
It had been 21-straight conference games, dating back to the end of the 2007-08 season, since the Ragin' Cajuns had last won a Sun Belt game before the win over North Texas on Wednesday.
The previous league victory was a 66-44 win against Denver on Mar. 1, 2008. It was the final regular-season game that year.
