Thread: Cajuns try to keep even after slow start

  1. UL Basketball Cajuns try to keep even after slow start

There's a saying University of Louisiana men's basketball coach Bob Marlin is quite fond of, one he used most recently earlier this week at practice: "It's never as bad as it seems, and it's never as good as it seems."

Does the season hinge on the results of this game? Four road games follow Tomorrow's game.

I agree. For confidence building if nothing else.

You're playing a 2-10 team. I don't see App winning as much as I see us losing. This team can not afford to drop conference games at home to bad teams. Yes, it's early, but we need every victory we can get.

I noticed Miami is ranked #13 now, which says something about the competition we've faced pre-conference.

Lose this game and we can hang it up for the season. Sorry to sound like a wet blanket, but it's that big of a game.

we will not lose this game. I say we win by 15.

This game is akin to the McNeese game, matchup wise. If we find a way to lose this game, good lord.

They have no answer for Bryce and Long. I enjoyed their play downlow early on. Long made some great assists
