That is why the head coach makes the big bucks ... the buck stops with him. So if he doesn't, or didn't learn that lesson his head coaching future will come to an end.

I personally think he has learned and will grow from it ... we'll know soon enough.

"I feel like I know what our players can do, and I know what I would like to do,".......but if you only do what you like,,,well.

That being said, what in the hell is an OC. He is hired to run the offense. Call plays. But some feel like Hud should relay the plays the the OC who in turn let the second QB waves his hands, lick his fingers, scratch his ball, put up a sign to let the QB on the field know what Hud called.......Hell any dumb _____ can do that for 3-400K a year. Yes the head coach is the boss, but let the assistants do their jobs. Now don't attack please. My opinion is just as valid as yours.

Quote, “I feel like I know what our players can do, and I know what I would like to do,” he said. “We’re going to be different than we have been in some ways. I’m excited to sort of see what each one of the candidates that I narrow it down to can bring to the table and to see what would be the best direction for us to go in as a program.”
He sure knew what they could do this past season.

Hopefully he can pull an OC that can bring a few recruits with him.

I'd rather that be his focus.

Shelby Christy will be a huge player for us in 2016. Mark my words.

Not if we refuse to throw the ball in the Redzone.

While I didn't agree with the kangaroo armed offense of the past season I would be more worried if Hud went in the opposite direction of his statement.

At least ONE BIG BRUISING FULLBACK, eh? Also, a few steamrolling, pancaking HUGE/QUICK offensive/defensive linemen, not to mention some cover corners and quick-route-running-receivers-with-glue-like-hands!
