Cajuns' coach won't make hasty decision on OC search

We won't get a back Alonzo's level very often.

Well, we got Eli a few years after Zo and he was even better.

"I feel like I know what our players can do, and I know what I would like to do,".......but if you only do what you like,,,well.

That being said, what in the hell is an OC. He is hired to run the offense. Call plays. But some feel like Hud should relay the plays the the OC who in turn let the second QB waves his hands, lick his fingers, scratch his ball, put up a sign to let the QB on the field know what Hud called.......Hell any dumb _____ can do that for 3-400K a year. Yes the head coach is the boss, but let the assistants do their jobs. Now don't attack please. My opinion is just as valid as yours.

Any good offensive coordinator needs to be in sync with the head coach. His plays and game plan should be a collaboration between the two.

This certainly doesn't mean he's the head coaches mouse on a keyboard. But depending on the coach it should probably be hard to tell the difference.

This is why JJ moving on may benefit the program. Some of the chemistry issues may have been higher up, pushing some players to choose sides. Pure speculation on my part.
