I think it is good scheduling. Because the S-BC conference action starts this week and ULM is playing App State and because App State doesn't have a "travel partner" we were scheduled against ULM a long time ago and get a conference bye during the week.

So instead of no game they scheduled an exhibition game; and they felt it would be better than another practice.

So go buy a beer or two and get ready for our conference opener on Saturday.

No doubt. LCA won it last night and are ranked in the national top 10. I doubt Spring Hill, unless they have a really tall guy, has anyone that would start at LCA.

Byron Starks for our next head coach, should Marlin leave! Not saying Marlin needs to leave but Byron is first class and young and a UL man at heart, and a awesome HS coach. What say you? Not trying to start anything just having fun!

Some things just stick in your memory. I remember a game in the Cajundome during the year when the Cajuns bench was moved to the opposite side of the court, I think because of some fans that were heckling Fletcher. On one play Byron was fouled on a 3 point attempt. Went to the line and missed all 3 free throws. On the rebound of the last miss the ball when out of bounds under the Cajun basket, Cajuns ball. Fletcher yelled to Byron to take the next shot. It was a 3 point attempt and was good. Will never forget that.
