Also...there are 5 of 6 home football games...7 at some schools. In baseball, you're talking 30 or so games. I'm as diehard as most, but can seldom make every game. Sometimes, some of those empty seats are a result of that.

My S in Law who sells golf and concert sponsorships with the global golf deal was explaining that if I win the lotto and build Boomer Stadium what I should ask for in benefits---Or just suite extras if ever a day would come---I can't believe the bucks they get for some of these events but they also get some very nice benefits!!!
I'm not saying you force anyone to do anything but if there are 30-40 people who never go, one day they get that invoice and the say...you know, I can't remember the last time I've even been to a game, I'm just gonna let these go....this is getting a little pricey to judge waste them. I promise you those grandstand seats behind the plate won't stay available or empty for 5 minutes. Same thing with tailgate spots, they are so cheap...why ever get rid of it? Even if you don't go? It's worth paying it just in case you wanna go.
Okay, I read your post wrong. The answer to your question is no, not now because of family concerns now. That is why I let them go last season and purchased seats in the bleacher down the first base line. But that is a question for each person to answer for themselves. As long as I can afford it, I will keep my baseball season tickets.
---I know you guys can figure a way to get UNUSED tickets to people that might want to go----I have missed games and don't want the money for their use but only somebody in the seats----the TV games look terrible with no body behind home plate---I think it was mentioned about an online or some board to make this happen---Can't go so call in and free the seats and have a line to call in and be able to use them!!!
There is a place through ragincajuns.com --> Account Manager --> where season ticket holders can list tickets for sale... but I don't think it is easy for potential buyers to find them.
I had tickets for 2 seasons for baseball. Working out of Houston, I barely made any games.
I quit getting them bc I was wasting money. As Crazy said, bump up the price and others will do the same.
