So sit the fat cats where there are seats available and take care of the one's that brought us to this point......now let's hear all the posters saying you have to go with the times even though you might be left out in the cold........
Poor little ol frenchie left out in the cold huh the Syrian women and children and frenchie. How do you know somebody would even want your seat? As far as I understand everyone will have the opportunity to keep their seat, it's not their job to decide what people budget is, they should get what the market dictates monetarily. I'd like our coach to get the money he deserves and spend his time trying to win a national title instead of selling wall advertisements and poboys trying to fund the program. By the way I'm half your age and I've been going to games for 30 years as well, and I understand the process.

Congratulations. You have successfully been a d__k to one of the nicest guys on RP; one who is always classy in his posts, even when he has an issue, and who also deserves respect as your elder.

Everyone reach around and pull your panties out of your back side. Robe will do what it takes to make sure the facility is the best it can be, make sure those how have been crucial to the success of this program for years will get their seats and will continue to put the best players and human beings on the field to play ball every game.

Not everyone with money is "some fat cat who sit their asses at home" there are a lot of loyal fans that supported this program through attendance and their pocket. Everybody always wants us to move forward as long as it doesn't inconvenience them, if that means I have move up or down a couple seats, so be it. Nobody is getting "left out In The cold"

----This is one of the reasons that it is taking some time to come out with all the specifications as they factor in time in former years support (how far back do you go) and how much and what was offered at the time and even possibly inflation----Hope all works out for the passion shown through the years by folks on here---but as has already been posted, there are some different sides to this thing!!!

Awesome. Kudos on the "k" tradition

Yeah, hopefully you're able to keep those seats

And Frenchie is one of those guys. So am I. So, at least according to you, are you. We have all earned the right to express our concerns, whether founded in fact or not.

I, personally, do not often go to baseball (or softball) games, so I don't have a dog in this fight, beyond wanting all of our programs to have everything they need to achieve success.

Yes, I give until it hurts, I go to every baseball and football game and 95% of basketball...season tickets for all. Reseating will happen across all sports, there will be some inconvenience. It's what needs to happen to move the program forward and if I ha e to go through some inconvenience for that to happen, I can live with it. Tony wants to keep the things that make our ballpark great and I'm sure the K guy is one of those things, but to come out and pitch a fit before you even know what is going on ain't right. Those "fatcats" are the reason we have what we do, so our coach doesn't have to build the outfield fence himself this time. People don't even know the specifics or where they even stand in line, has it ever occurred to people you might get a chance to get better seats? The world isn't always ending. It's been stated numerous times loyalty will count, there have been a lot of recent addition to the season ticket holders so the old timers should be far up the list. 29 years should and will count, but so should 50k, 100k dollar donations. You can't keep asking those people for funds and stick them out in the bleachers, people give out of generosity but having something in return doesn't hurt. I hate how people villify big donors like they are all _______s who don't go to games, some of our biggest donors are our most loyal fans. So yeah, if 2 guys have been going for 29 years and 1 gives $1000 and the other guy gives $100k, he should get to pick his seat over you, me or whoever.

As I understand it, the loyalty part will be less influential over time. In the beginning, it will mean a lot but if someone is giving more over a given number of years, he will be rewarded with better seat options. So the time factor works both ways. Helps the folks who have been loyal over the years, and helps the "newer" fan who gives more over a number of years. I don't know that number, so don't ask.

I think what really chaps average long time Joe fan for example was the baseball supers 2 years ago. Deep pocket band wagon fan shows up and writes a fat check and bumps average Joe in priority for that series.

I think most understand seating changes may take place. It's the cenario above that angers folks and needs to be clearly addressed. It may not be in a form everyone likes, but it has to be set in stone with no wiggle room to work.

And a suggestion Mr. Harris if you're reading this. I have a couple that sits near us at the Dome. They have been season ticket holders for about 50 years. If an individual purchases tickets continuously for fifty years in a sport, year 50 deserves recognition at least, and maybe even free tickets that year. God bless 'em, they've seen the good, the bad and the ugly.

Wow 50 years. That should bring some kind of recognition. They should have a plaque on the wall or on their seats.

    Yes indeed!

The "K" tradition is worth money.
