Yup. The gentleman told me last year he got season tickets when he got out of USL in '65. They moved their seats to the aisle this year, easier access. I'm sure there are some others out there, and God bless 'em. Frenchie has to be well up there time wise with his tickets.

Oh snap, a minor marketing idea? Tradition? Now if I only knew how to fund raise...

Should have kept my mouth shut and let it fall where it may. Giving your opinion is not a good thing on here. Sorry CrazyCajun.....

Giving your opinion is the only thing on here. Don't worry about what Crazy said. You're both right... it's just a balancing act for our admin to figure out.

I think, regardless of sport, there should be a guiding grandfather clause.

Something like if you have had season tickets continuously for 30+ years, you can keep them forever if you choose, no strings attached.

After that, some sort of sliding scale would be useful depending if your a 25+ guy, a 20 guy, a 15+ guy, etc. At some point what you give will be able to be matched by someone else, and they can have your seats.

Directly from Harris: Every season ticket holder will have the opportunity to keep their seats.

Also - loyalty counts. It will cost the long-time season ticket holder less to keep his/her seats than it would for a new purchaser to come in and purchase them in the event the long-time holder declines.

Do we have pics of what the Newly Renovated Tigue would look like? If there are some other more updated renderings please post them!

    Frenchie,

Do not apologize. We should all be adults enough to express our opinion without threat of ridicule. Sadly, some people do not see it this way. Some people are super manly behind a keyboard!

    To all,

My in-laws have had basketball courtside seats for 25 years, rebounds club, 6 football season tickets for years, tailgating spots, etc. and he thinks he will lose his courtside seats after the reassignment. So even people that give are expecting to lose out to a "bigger" fish. That's just the sad, sad truth.

Because he is paranoid? Or because someone told him he would lose them? Your In Laws sound pretty far up the ladder. I'm far from a big fish and I certainly don't want to lose any of my seats. However, when they lay out the plan and the rules of reseating, if my loyalty, monetary donations, number of tickets etc don't add up to someone else and I can't afford the new price of my tickets, that's life. Why should the program be held back by my personal monetary limits. Most season ticket holders are happy with their seats, because it's THEIR seats. Why is everyone assuming thousands of people will be coming after your seat? Not everyone likes the same seat or thinks the same seats are premium. I personally don't like behind the plate bc I've always sat down the line. They could offer me behind the plate and I would keep mine. Particularly baseball when you are close to selling out the stadium in season tickets, you have to maximize that monetarily. Everyone gripes how we do everything small time around here, then when they try to do it big time it's poor me and that's not fair and all kind of btching. Let's see how it plays out before everyone starts throwing a fit.
