HUD got killed all year because of people thinking he lacked talent and can't recruit but now he is a moron for not offering a kid who is committed to Henderson state? And another who is committed to an FCS? just bc he played high school in this town?
C'mon man. I was being sarcastic. My point was, there is talent in the Acadiana area. It just seems like we either not interested or miss out. I have NO reason why. However, we do get plenty from Mississippi. My eyeball test on some of those recruits were about to detach my retinas.

I wonder if Comeaux High's Brandon Stokley would have passed the Eye ball test! Probably Not

But there are people who are legitimately ____ed off that these 2 weren't offered. This thing is a 2 way street...some of these local coaches expect the home town team to take kids that either don't want, don't fit or we would be their only FBS offer. There is a lot of local talent, there is a lot of local talent who think they are too good for this school as well. There is a lot of local talent who sit with their families during the holidays dressed head to tie in purple and yellow being told they are too good for ULL. We still fight a small time perception locally. We have offered several local athletes who go elsewhere. It's easy to point out the misses like Dugas...but there are plenty we wanted, offered but they didn't want us. For every Dugas story, there are 5 others we don't offer that go on to do nothing of impact at other places but nobody brings those up, probably because they don't know about them.

I'm guessing he would not be offered today. As a previous poster has said, we have slot receivers. Why would we want another local yocal, so and so's son type guy taking up space on the roster?

And no Fred Stamps or any of the other great receivers we've had in the past.

Nope. Not at all. One he does not fit our system. Second, baggage. In fact, I'd be disappointed if our staff even thought about him. If you need an explanation, you're obviously a troll. Sorry you are so ____ hurt.

Of course he wouldn't fit our system. But don't act like we don't have talent in our area. But it sounds like you are a professional college talent scout, so go solve our teams problems. Or, maybe you have been consulting huh dip

    . Bwahahahahaha
No -fumble- here dip. Have absolutely no reason to. I was one that always said that I trust our coaches to make the right decisions when it comes to recruiting. I've been to many practices and I do see alot of good athletes that I like alot. Just didn't carry on to the field for sure this year.
