But you are deep in the camp of being critical of our coaching this past football season. Actually, you were one of the best critics.
I'm extremely critical, just not gonna jump their ___ for not offering a kid who is committed to mcneese and another who is/was committed to Henderson state. There are a lot of very good talent evaluators in FBS and currently they all agree with our staff on these 2 guys. Now, everyone of them could very well be wrong, I'm just not losing sleep over it, we have plenty of other problems.

We have a WR commit that is bigger and faster, has other FBS offers, was a track star, played both ways with almost 800 yards receiving and over 100 tackles on defense. 5A MVP in texas

Crazy Cajun is it your opinion We aggressively went after in your words that QB currently Commited to Arkansas? AKA 6'7 Cole Kelly. An **SEC** QB in our own backyard. Jake Delhomme Told Hud 3 years ago this kid is the real deal. I'm not sure Hud ever went to Teurlings to talk to him.( Maybe he did) Let me guess he doesn't fit what we do offensively. Please!!!

Kelly has had an offer for a very long time. It's not like we are gonna beat out Arkansas for every single kid.

This is what you should have stated instead. I agree with you on some of the local recruiting comments. Our coaching staff has brought the criticism on themselves. This past year has easily opened up the recruiting model for interrogation. Signing highly "rated" classes and then having the highest rated players not ever see the field is not a good defense of the current model.

He has an offer, to infer he didn't would be incorrect. I have no idea how aggressive we were. You know some kids want to get away from home for college right? It's not like he is going to Central Arkansas Unicersity over us either.

If Begue and Bellamy were going to latech, Tulane, stAte or wherever then maybe people would have a point, I could easily listen to that argument. If those kids played at Evangel and were going to NWST you wouldn't hear ___ from anyone. They may both turn out to be studs, but I rather the kid we have committee right now.

This kid has all the talent in the world and can be as good as he wants to be. Having said that I wouldn't want his attitude anywhere near my program if I were a coach. (If you want details PM me.) Here is my prediction, unless he matures and has a big change in attitude he will not see his 2nd year at Arkansas.

My opinion is that he was just too slow. Dude can't move his feet in the pocket. Great arm though.

For a comparison,Just Googled it. Zach Mettenberger ran a (5.2 ) 40 yard dash at NFL Combine and his feet are average at best in pocket. Cole Kelley may NOT be a Saint but he has a Cannon for an Arm and will be a STUD in Arkansas. 🏈

Isn't his brother Lance Kelley? He had all sorts of problems when he left the program if I recall...what is amazing is that the number of kids UL goes after who land at far away programs like Nebraska, Arkansas, etc and a year later want to transfer. Exhibit A is the two guys from Karr that went to Nebraska stayed a year or less and then landed at NW St. When will these kids learn that the grass (while its colder...) is not always greener hundreds of miles from home. My guess is Kelley transfers after his first fall...too far from home.

......for a coach that talks ____e about teams that throw the ball. Best of luck to your friend.

I agree. I always said he will start at Arkansas, but will end up at a 1-AA school (McNeese or Northwestern St).
