The New Orleans Bowl website has a beautiful picture announcing this year now game. It's pretty awesome...

    They're wishing we were there!

App State was dirty in their game. They may have won but they did not represent the conference with class. I'm hoping that Arkansas State does better.

Louisiana Tech has a good team for a minor mid major. They should be able to handle Arkansas State.

As for us getting back to a bowl game? I can't see us going anywhere for a couple years. Our coaching staff was totally lost this year, and we don't have any kind of QB for next season.

I went to New Orleans Thursday and was leaving sunday needless to say the city was real dead so we return home this morning there is no way there will be 30,000 people. I spoke to someone from the NOB and was assured that as long as we are bowl eligible we will go there. I always wear Cajun gear merchants were complaining about us not being there no one was painting the town red.

Unless they are taking 4-5 win teams we won't be there for a while. Maybe we should all go support the Sun Belt team and show the other schools how to properly Paint the Quarter Red! We don't need a team to have a party!

If venture to say we will get more out of the QB position next year than we did this year.

considering our decreased level of competition every year Hud has been here and the fact that both teams beat our ___ this year, I will hold judgement about throwing rocks in glass home. Those 2 teams will use this bowl game to recruit against us and when they throw in the all ready ridiculous self imposed sanctions it cant help. I'm not laughing at them because we are at the mo bottom of the worse conference in the country. Sad but true.

Want to say 42, 50, 55, 40 (roughly) in that order. Prior record was around 30 I think I'd be surprised if 30 were there tonight

Pretty close Doc. Your memory is better than mine.
    2011---42,841
    2012---48,828
    2013---54,728
    2014---34,014
Numbers are from the R+L Carrier Bowl website. The site also makes reference to the fact that UL vacated 9 wins in 2011 due to "major NCAA violations including ACT exam fraud and payments to recruits". Their words not mine.
