They also got a very good look at him at Cajun Field.

Rivers started majority of the games by the way.

I doubt vicinity to his parents played a major role in Haack going to NWST.
What was his graduate program you speak of? If NWST has it, I'm sure almost every school has it.
Yeah he is tired of waiting. But coming off of only one season as a starter with a 4-8 record, I highly doubt that he had a bunch of options coming his way.
NWST was probably his only option, if he wanted to actually play football.
Overrated. But people sure do love them some Haack for some reason. I still don't get the hype

You're wrong on all accounts and the people that "love them some Haack" have legitimate reasons.

But keep assuming.. Seems like that's working well for you.

I heard him say it out of his mouth that he wanted his parents to be able to watch him play, you think I just made it up? The graduate rule requires you enroll in something that your current school doesn't have, so no...not every school would apply. NWST state does not have a returning or incumbent starter, that is a pretty big deal when you only have 1 to play 1. I guess I could say the same, some people sure hate them some brooks haack for some reason. I didn't say he had a ton Of options but there aren't many when you start with driving distance of katy Texas.

If he wants to be close to his folks now, was that same requirement in place when he committed to UL?

Right again sir. NWST was after him big time. He had some appealing options but at the end of the day, the fit worked out. Mostly because of the things you've stated here.

A lot must've changed from last Friday. Can you fill us in on the scoop?

Nothing changed. At all. The guy made a decision with his family. You going to bash that too?

Out of Texas, would that apply?

Side note (I know you know) at the time his sister was a star for UL Softball.

Not sure where you're getting at me bashing him? Never said anything negative about the young man.

Last week I asked what his options were and you said "not SLC" schools. Well...something changed, no?

Just curious of his intent out of HS bc a lot of people criticized Hudspeth for "wasting" his time. But as great as he was in HS, if he limited the potential schools to offer him to a handful, IMO the blame doesn't fall squarely on Hudspeth.

    Best of luck to Brooks.
