Best of Luck Brooks, you deserve better. I hope your next chance to play, you get the support from your team and coaches and light up the yards and points. You had a lot of fans hear. I could see your potential and I'm not a football coach.

This coaching staff was just blind or others.

You just listened to an interview where Robe talked about doing this with every player every Christmas. Letting him know exactly where he was, where his teammates thought he was, what kind of fit things were working out to be... at Christmas, before the Spring, before the games, and before the turmoil hits the field on gameday.

You think Hud doesn't care enough about his players to sit down and have a heart to heart about their future - especially somebody like Brooks Haack?

4-8 blinds the eyes of a lot of folks.

Take a deep breath. Jordan Davis is going to be awesome, and Brooks Haack is going to be asesome in the right situation.

Y'all going to revisit all this if Hud gets us to a Sun Belt Championship and Top 25?

I think he cares about these kids more than wins. Y'all applaud Robe for this. Robe has had some pretty down years, too.

    Deep. Breath.
And Robe wasn't getting paid $1,000,000/yr when he had those down seasons. I expect way more than what we got this year from a million dollar coach.

My fear is we will see a repeat of "as the QB turns" with Nixon and Davis next year.

Thats not acceptable at 1 million a year. ____, this isnt acceptable at 150K

We wont. My guess is that Nixon is already on the rb depth chart. Davis will be the clear No 1

I have a problem with any player being called "clear No 1" when they haven't proven it....yet. Davis had some nice moments, but terrible ones too. The best player coming out of spring should be the "clear No 1" whether it's Davis or Weaver, or whoever.

I know it's no consolation for you, but you did make a much greater contribution than you believe. The intelligent Cajun football fans learned a great deal from your presence in our program.

Go forth and succeed young man!
    Nicely said, I totally agree.

No coach that is hired figures to be fired. No player that signs figures to leave. No couple that marries figures to divorce.

Let's put this in perspective. Stuff happens.

Most do. That's why there are contracts, pre nuptials. Unfortunately the student athletes aren't allowed the same latitude as the schools and coaches. Kind of strange in the entertainment business. The stars are usually protected.

Coaches can leave for perceived better jobs
Schools and coaches can leverage a player out even when he's honoring his end. He's asked to leave and must lose a years eligibility.

There's every reason to support the players over the establishment.

I personally would love to see this and Brooks throw for about 500 yds against us.
