    We need to.

I am fairly confident Hud can right the ship.

I just feel like he treated 2015 like it was a throwaway season.

The guy has done nothing but win as a coach with the exception of this season. Of course he'll right the ship.

  3. UL Football Cajuns QB Haack says he will transfer

Haack announced his decision Friday afternoon in a note on Twitter. Haack, a native of Katy, Texas, tweeted "Than...

Haack doesn't fit our style, what for the past 8 years or longer, even during the Bustle years we had a qb that can scramble or a mobile qb. Never had a pocket passer, last one I can think of was Van Cleave during the Baldwin era, I don't remember him ever doing that well.

Let's give Hud the benefit of the doubt and say he went after the best qb, but did not succeed because he never fit our style of play.

What are the odds of Haack ending up at McNeese State?
Can you imagine the outcome next year?

I'm sure he would not be allowed to transfer to a team on our schedule next year.

Nixon and Davis also had to play under the EXACT same conditions. Did Haack outplay either of them? Nope.
I don't know what season you watched but, yeah, he did.

Best of Luck Brooks, you deserve better. I hope your next chance to play, you get the support from your team and coaches and light up the yards and points. You had a lot of fans hear. I could see your potential and I'm not a football coach.

This coaching staff was just blind or others.

You just listened to an interview where Robe talked about doing this with every player every Christmas. Letting him know exactly where he was, where his teammates thought he was, what kind of fit things were working out to be... at Christmas, before the Spring, before the games, and before the turmoil hits the field on gameday.

You think Hud doesn't care enough about his players to sit down and have a heart to heart about their future - especially somebody like Brooks Haack?

4-8 blinds the eyes of a lot of folks.

Take a deep breath. Jordan Davis is going to be awesome, and Brooks Haack is going to be asesome in the right situation.

Y'all going to revisit all this if Hud gets us to a Sun Belt Championship and Top 25?

I think he cares about these kids more than wins. Y'all applaud Robe for this. Robe has had some pretty down years, too.

    Deep. Breath.
And Robe wasn't getting paid $1,000,000/yr when he had those down seasons. I expect way more than what we got this year from a million dollar coach.
