Probably, then the cure, then the camellia, it's not gonna come from the P5's 9 and 10 bowl tie ins per conference.

Looks like Coach Leger will now be the offensive coordinator for the Warhawks..although we all know he will be wearing vermillion in the spring

Until ULL actually beats a P5 school, I'd say thats fair.

Is it just me or does La Tech have one hell of an insecure fan base??

    It is humorous.

This guy is 77-33, and has had success in High School as well as College.

ULM is getting back to basics with this hire, they were successful at the D-IAA level, This hire is saying we need to go back to what made us successful, the time when we made it to National Championship at the D-IAA level and won.

Think GS and App St. has the same mentality, they are not changing how they play ball, they have built a tradition of winning. Why change success?

This coach will have a hard time, with budget constraints, fan support, and recruiting. He needs to tap into the Monroe market for high school players. You have the best high school football teams in the country, WMHS, Neville, Ouachita etc.. I think Matt Viator can do that because he was a high school coach, and knows how to get these kids in.

I don't think it was a coincidence that McNeese beat us and almost beat Nebraska. Somewhere down the line we are getting out recruited and having trouble in evaluating talent. If we are not, then Viator has won the recruiting war between McNeese and UL by building a rapport with these high school athletes.
True and McNeese had only several Seniors on this years 10-1 team! Will have their DC as the HC so Defense same or stronger next season and Offense is an unknown now for opposing coaches! Their QB is a lot like Nixon, can run but can' t hit the side of a barn with their strong arms. ULM is pretty young also and brining in a coach that has been VERY successful at 2 levels! He will try to corner the market with the recruits in North Louisiana! ULM and McNeese could be VERY problematic for a UL football program that is looking for answers on Both sides of the ball and facing NCAA sanctions SOON! Just saying Cajun Nation, but HUD and Company better strap it on because IF they get spanked by both McNeese and ULM, can you say Raccoon Eyes!

I think Coach Leger would be a hell of an upgrade from that ____ poor OC we have.
