What does an AD have to do with recruiting? Does Farmer make visits?

Well, Bruno strikes again. Both finalists (the guy from Ark St and Viator from 'pokes) turned down the job because Nick was committed to the football program. Shocker. But what a disgrace to the supporters of that school.

Also former AD Wickstrom is a finalist for Tulane gig. If he gets the job, Cajun recruiting will suffer. The only reason we're even getting marginal top 75 - 100 guys is because Tulane has been awful as a program. I'd take Wickstrom over our guy right this second.

I'd take Hud in as AD/Head Coach...get an offensive mastermind (Bob Stitt) and a fiery oft-drunk coonass to run my defense like my grandfather with a yardstick (Lance Guidry). We get those two things...who cares what anyone else in the state is doing...we run ____.

Good AD with resources = better program = better football = kids want to play there

Ah well, I was late on that. Wickstrom was involved in that. I don't know if it was public, but I was told he was definitely in the mix, and thought to be a finalist.
