How about landing a player or two in the Louisiana top 50? Other than that, games are won in the trenches. Big boys who can block, or eat up blocks, are what wins games in Hud's schemes.
My dream for UL would be to go with the Navy football model. Flexbone, ball control that doesn't need giant road-grader linemen, and an aggressive 3-4 defense. This matches much better with the players available from Louisiana high schools.
Cajuns have some good young talent on O line now that will get better with experience. Hunt would have played as a true freshman if he didn't get hurt in camp. Winthrow & Horst were sophomores, Goodacre and Freeman were red shirt freshman Gordon a Jr. Also Dotson and prudhomme red shirting that they were high on in camp. O line will be a strong point in the next few years to come if they can stay healthy.
How about sit down and make a recruiting Christmas list and send it to Santa Claus.
Santa please bring me 10 very large lineman that can block for Christmas!
HO-HO-HO
How about our head coach let his assts coach. Less micro managing would be nice in 2016.

Boomer,
Let's pray also. Lord, grant HUD the clarity to see the error of his ways and let him renew the spirit of the Cajuns by fielding a victorious team next year. Divine intervention is needed, trust me!
