This year the shooting is so bad, it feels like I am watching a AAU team at Red's.
    Hard to disagree with this.

I will also say that its not just a problem with the way Marlin coaches. Its a problem with the way college basketball has evolved. As it evolves, I am watching less and less basketball.

It's evolving just fine for some programs.

What was the story on why we lost Hassani Gravett to Juco? Why did he transfer out after sitting a whole year on the bench?? He would've made this team instantly better at the guard position and would've pushed Register down the pine.

Could be wrong but I think we signed a guard or 2 that never made it here, seams like I remember him leaving after that

MBB has lost the casual fan. Only the die hards are left and they are disgruntled. Being a MBB fan right now is frustrating. UL still has a great basketball community. Just look at the excitement there is for WBB right now. MBB is ho hum even with one of the top players to ever play here. The schedule is underwhelming and we cannot even have a winning record with this schedule. I like Marlin but I also would like to have (and I think we deserve) a competitive MBB program. I am just not convinced anymore that Marlin is the right guy. I hope he proves me wrong.

I had a friend that switched from women to men in college... it wasn't for me to judge... but I don't think it had anything to do with basketball.

It's always better to switch from men to women unless you're a Jenner.

I'm not going to bash Marlin, but if a change isn't made at the end of this season, it's a loud and clear statement from the admin to us about the commitment to the basketball program. I've always said and still maintain, UL is a basketball school. Crowds, schedule, support and results are all unacceptable. No way in hell this program is 20 points worse than LITTE ROCK. And this is with an NBA player on the roster.
