Thanks for telling me that. I thought that ticket sales went to the specific sport, and all the others are under the control of Scott Farmer. I'm glad you told me this. Thanks again!

Even those donations are questionable. Sure your money will go to that sport, but that does not prevent the President or AD from cutting an equal amount from the university portion of that sports budget.

Well wasn't the UALR game special. We have an NBA prospect on our team who played on a national team and with the people we surround him with we can't stay within 20 of a team in a lower middle basketball conference. Our team can't beat anyone better than Appalachian State or McNeese State.

Bob Marlin did a fine job at Sam Houston but he has risen to a level that is above his coaching abilities. He is a VERY NICE man and I wish I could say how great he has done at UL but that's not the case.

It is time to cut bait and get back out on the water in a new boat. This time lets get us a captain that can teach his crew rather than hope his mates come in fully trained.

We are stuck with him. He has to go through his contract. Nice guy, just doesn't fit the bill.

I like Marlin and hoped he would be a good coach. That's not the case. Can Broadhead coach dudes?

True, but he coached men's first. Have to think that would be an easier transition.

I think Coach Broadhead would have success at any program any gender. Reason I say that, if you look at his teams, they are all fundamentally sound. I have yet to see a Bob Marlin team that is fundamentally sound. Since he has been here, I have always felt like I was watching a AAU pick up team. This year the shooting is so bad, it feels like I am watching a AAU team at Red's.
