This team beat latech last year and got beat by a lesser latech team at half strength. We didn't build off of anything, at this point best case scenario we started over. That's how you have a special season...you return everyone from a good team, build on the season before and turn the next one into something special. We always start over...never build off previous seasons
-0---Well there is no LIST---why??? Because I NEVER said it was a good basketball season-----PLease go check my posts---You are always commenting on my posts and attributing to me things that were never written----Now I also mentioned that I thought it wrong to give up on this team and that I would not and back them (BTW not to you)----But when do the falsehoods of my words stop??? Can you show me the quote where I mentioned it being a good season--of course not----I will accept your apology for your error!!! It is Christmas Time---You try and be Merry!!! Oh and VOB and I debate on Sunday over breakfast and you are welcome to come and observe his Ad Hominems----VOB Saw your lovely wife at the office and the family photos are great!!!---Love you guys!!!
We love you too, Boomer.... your living in LaLa land and all that goes with it. I hope Santa Harris drops a million in your stocking. Not likely, but you, TJoe and Farmer seem to love him so I thought Id humor you.
We are only a few seasons away from being back in a conference with McNeese, Lamar and NWST! I know you are excited.
Merry Christmas,
The Eauxers
You're giving Marlin credit for pay-to-play tournaments? Of course you are.
I don't need to provide facts to make an obvious observation. The team is underachieving. Maybe not to you and Boomer (big shocker), but to those of us that watch and attend, pretty easy to see.
You want facts? Look at Marlin's D1 coaching record. There are no others stats or facts or whatever the hell excuse you want to post here that matter. I've supported the man, but no longer. We're in a rut as a program. Six years of excuses.
Btw, nice attempt at smartassness. Linking to comments I made years ago actually reinforce where the program truly is. So thanks.
Boomer... ah Boomer.
I will refrain from posting what I'm thinking this time. But just know, it isn't good.
I'd debate this clown under the table. Today, I'm hungover and short on time. I'll come back and post the "facts" for your buddy later. And just know, those aren't good either.
Merry Christmas
I never said that you said this was a good basketball season. I want you to convince me that it is. And no... I do not attribute things to you that you do not post. I may misread your gibberish... but I'm sure I'm not alone.
Why are you jumping into YHWH's post battles and attacking the "Eauxers". Many Eauxers know you... and that is why they clown with you so much. You write too many nonsensical things. You are just too damn easy to pick on.
Merry Christmas Boomer!
(A) You still have to be invited to play. But whatever.
(B) I do watch and attend, I just happen to have a different opinion.
(C) If you really think we are in a rut as a program, fine, but over the last 6 years, we have had post-season play, one of which involved the Big Dance. That's a heck of a lot better than where we were.
(D) I consider my smartassedness or smartassness (whichever way you want to spell it) one of my most treasured qualities, though I don't often break it out. But my point is that you were saying the same stuff a year ago, and something tells me nothing will make you happy. If last year was as bad as the death penalty years, then I happen to place little value in your perspective.
I do remember the games where I showed up to watch a team that was miserably worse than where it is now, and I felt like I was doing time in Purgatory for it.
The current team has not found its groove, clearly. But it may yet. And let me be fair, it may not.
But to simply say, "nope, that's it, I'm done" with one conference game in the books is a bit premature. Female-dog all you want, but Marlin is the coach for this year. Why don't you judge this year at a time when we all have a better perspective on where we stand?
That's all I'm asking.
Fokker. Out.
"Female dog all you want"
I laughed, not gunna lie. I may use that in future debates. So, apologies in advance.
I'll say that after that particular game (the comment that you're referencing) I was furious. And obviously, over-sensationalized a bit.
I'll be happy when the games are fun again.
---Well OK lets start with accuracy---I am waiting for those but I remember some subjects like not going to the INDY Bowl causes we didn't talk to them----Not wanting to take the 2 post season tourneys in basketball---FB Coaches not getting a bonus---All facilities complaining---and anything that any of the afore mentioned names are in contact with on here!!! The problem with just about all of these is the rush to judgement before the facts are in and the hate wanting these people to be wrong--And the Eauxers accuracy includes???
I have no freaking clue what you're trying to say.
If the rush to judgement is proven right, how "rushed" was it? It takes some longer than others to realize there are problems a lot of times. And if you're asking about accuracy, we can go back to as recently as the QB fiasco. We were saying in SPRING DRILLS Hudspeth needed to pick a QB before it turned into a problem.
And guess what Boomer.. It indeed turned into a huge problem.
There are many, many, many more examples.
