That's not even close to true. It takes way more than two players to win a conference championship. Just look at LSU. They have the best player in college basketball and they're absolute garbage. Basketball is a team game. You can't beat a team that is solid from 1 to 5 with only one stud recruit.

No, I saw it. I think it's a fair comparison becuase LSU hasn't played a conference game yet and they've struggled against average G5 schools. They only beat McNeese by 11. LSU wouldn't even be favored to win the lowly Sun Belt this year.

We have everyone returning from a 20+ win team...with an NBA player in Long. What more do you want? We look worse than the beginning of last year and hedgemen and Wooten appear to be better than what we lost and we added plaisance...and we are going backwards. We gonna have to run the table to get to 20 wins...the SBC is way better, we will be lucky to finish 5th. ULM went 6 deep last year and competed for the title. We have hands down the most dominant player in the sunbelt and we can't find a way to win a road game. Hopefully that changes tonight but for the ones who think we will magically get better in conference, in telling you this year isn't gonna be easy.

Look at a school like Little Rock. Went 13-18 last year and make a coaching change. Now they are 9-0 with wins over San Diego state, Tulsa, ecu, and DePaul. We have had more talent than them, just not the coaching.

I was one of Marlins biggest supporters after he cleaned house to do it right but it has become very obvious he is not the answer.
