    Set your standards higher man!
You are crazy if you think Shawn has been dominated. He went for 21 & 13 against Miami and 25 & 14 against Bama. I don't think that's being dominated.

Not happening. Too long on his contract. Marlin and his middle of the road teams will be ok for SBC play. Probably finish in top four. Not good enough to get excited not bad enough to not keep renewing.

Well what we have now isn't working. I'm sick and tired of mediocrity and people saying it could be worse. I WANT BETTER. My employer doesn't look at my performance that way so why should we accept different?

He probably didn't even watch those games.

We are talking basketball, not football. No bowl games in basketball.

What makes me think that way is the lack of marquee OOC games at home to entice people to attend. The recruiting budget may be limited. Another thing is that we don't seem to be capable to get off to a good start. I think Shipley and Paschal might be less successful in this environment. Pure speculation on my part.
    1) football is as big as it will ever get at UL.
    2) we are in as big/good a conference as we will ever she in as long as Scott Farmer is our AD.
    3) conference affiliation is determined by ACADEMICS in most conferences. We are a great school but for some reason we are not looked upon like the SEC schools. The presidents in the nicer conferences don't want us.

I totally disagree which is why I started this thread. He is a do nothing coach who happened to get two players. He did not develop those players. They were developed by the coaches of the national teams they played for.

At what point do we say WIN NOW or look elsewhere?

If they were developed by the national teams, marlin got them to come here and got them to that point. And at what point? Not two weeks into the season
