even if he does not win another game, the answer is no. We don't have money for a buy out and just look east to BR to see what the public thinks of firing coaches with money owed during this time of economic hardship

I personally think the university is on a course to grow football in order to get in a better conference and give basketball a better platform from which to grow. It's hard to call for a coach's head when your sport's priority is on hold. But they are renovating the Cajundome so more attention to basketball will follow. What makes me think that way is the lack of marquee OOC games at home to entice people to attend. The recruiting budget may be limited. Another thing is that we don't seem to be capable to get off to a good start. I think Shipley and Paschal might be less successful in this environment. Pure speculation on my part.
Yep I disagreed when Farmer gave him that raise. If I recall correctly, Marlin makes over 400k per year and the dude has no signature win.....none!
His seat should be Hot as Hell, but hey it's UL. Our coaches, baseball and softball aside, throw up some smoke and mirrors and get raises. They always generate tons of hype and NEVER live up.
We always seem to start off the season slow. Also people bringing up basesball, correct me if I'm wrong didn't we start off the season pretty slow and ended up having a good season?
This team will be good. We will compete for sun belt title
