Louisiana, Ohio Sign Home-And-Home Football Series

Over the last decade, Ragin' Cajuns football has put an emphasis on scheduling games out of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). That trend continues today. The Cajuns have signed a home-and-home deal with Ohio for the 2019 and 2021 seasons, according to the Ohio University athletic department.

The Ragin' Cajuns will travel to Athens on September 19, 2019 with a return trip to Lafayette tentatively scheduled for September 18, 2021. It will mark the second time the two schools have agreed to a series.

They've been good for nearly a decade and I understand that you take what you can get, but this is a tough matchup for anyone to get excited over. Just like it is from them to sell us to their fans. Pretty much any CUSA team would attract more interest from our fans based on proximity alone than Ohio.
