It's comforting to see that Hud can see past his own ignorance.

'Nixon would be an NFL caliber running back.'

Nixon was also compared to Brian Mitchell who DID play in the NFL.

I don't think anyone said he was NFL caliber at the QB position, but your memory might be better than mine.
    That was me.

His sheer size/speed might be better than Zo.

    The physical skills are there.

He reminds me of Ike Taylor. Blessed with physical skills and played out of position until late in his career here, then made it to the NFL.

Definitely recall some saying he could be a NFL back. Other than cajunnation. At least hes honest about it

Nixon has the body to play in the NFL, and I know it will not be at QB.

You need to have a dimentia check up. He may make an NFL roster, but not QB. He's a heck of an athlete.

No QB got help from coaches playing to their strengths. Very erratic line play. Poor route play. Point is the quarterbacks all had lots of help looking lost.

Hudspeth said he could have a shot at a roster running 4.5 forty at 235 pounds. He is a little faster then Harris.

You sir are correct..... I have always wanted the guy that the coaches thought the best to help us win to play.......I don't see Nixon in the NFL at any position, but, because of my preference of offenses thought he best to run it!!! And I thank him for the performance that amassed that incredible run/passing yardage night!!!

Unless he truly turns it up next year and has a great year I just don't see it happening.
