Thread: Hudspeth gets more specific on offensive changes

Question regarding Davis: Since he played a half a quarter and it appears he may get some playing time in the last game, does this mean his Red Shirt status has been removed? If so, he would only have 3 years left on his eligibility.

If he proves to be the next coming of Cam Newton (college version), was it worth it to blow an entire year of eligibility on basically 2-3 quarters of play this year?

Davis redshirted last season. No removing his redshirt

In other cases, a player may be granted a redshirt if he or she has participated in less than 10% of the season taking place in an academic year."

So does this mean Davis will have participated in less than 10% of the season taking place?

The official Ragin Cajun Athletic website has him as a redshirt this year. Does this mean the site is a year behind?

No it mean this year he is a redshirt freshman. Last year he was a true freshman. After this year he would have 3 years to play regardless of playing or not playing last week.

Why can't people understand Jordan Davis already redshirted... He took snaps against NWST...shows how many of you were still there to see it.

I have never understood how the idea of a redshirt is so difficult for some to figure out.

Sorry that my wife was having an unplanned surgery and that I felt that was more important to be at than the game. So no, I did not go to that game. I have missed a total of 6 home games since 1975. Do you need a reason for those games also?

I wasn't speaking directly to you...this has been ongoing for the entire season about Jordan Davis status... By several posters. Unwad your panties.
