Thread: Head Coaching Carousel

    Default Head Coaching Carousel

A great visual via Reddit. All open positions as of 11/30/15I can't remember this many being open before the end of the season, if ever.

Not sure if it's official but looks like TCU's offensive coordinator Doug Meacham may be heading to North Texas.

What?! That would be a huge get for NT. Very surprising in my opinion.

  4. UL Football Re: Head Coaching Carousel

Well it's down as LSU is keeping Less.

Honestly I know I'm not in a majority but I it matters to me only in how it effects UL. It's not likely to effect UL because I doubt any of these schools are going to hire away Hud.

Now if he's dead set to go, some of these hires will take away some coaches. Could collateral damage put Hud in an escape mode? Problem is no one who would come up willing to afford to pay him and us.

Hud's ours like a marriage for better or worse. No divorce plausible at this time.

Yeah just twitter banter as of now but I agree, it seems with all the openings this year he could find a better gig. Guess he loves the DFW area.

He shouldn't be fired. But his seat should be hotter than a Mexican hooker house in July after a weekend of overtime.

Houston & Memphis each offered their coach 3 million

I could see that as a landing spot

Hopefully we just need a little marriage counseling

LTUR might be willing to contribute to that hire.

I can see son of Lou at one of those jobs.

IMO he has too much baggage for Memphis. Houston is not looking yet, but same story. He's not crazy enough to become a Lamer, is he? Maybe the Orange, they play Notre Dame that would make Lou happy.

Texas State can't get any love, even when they are firing a coach. No mention of them in the chart, which was a terrific piece of work!

Maybe they have given up football, like Toolame should, and UL-Monoroe should.

It was never an official firing/resigning at Texas StateLSU was put in there just for humor.

Really, so are they keeping him?

I can't spell his name but he is # 2 or 3 in active winning coaches right now.

And the lsu thing is funny, as is how they handled everything.
