This season went the way it did for 3 reasons. 1. ____ poor conditioning. 2. ____ poor OL play. 3. ____ poor interior DL play.

If you want to add a 4th you could say the QB drama.
I have no doubt that IF the line was blocking for the same QB all year long they would have performed at a higher level.

"Wrong again, he has failed this team miserable."

Whether he has or not, that doesn't mean he has to say what you want publicly.

I just hope he gives Davis a fair shot to fight for the starting job next year.

Or any QB for that matter.

About time he channeled Bear Bryant.

I wish I could bench press 500 lbs. Maybe Hud would pay attention.

We do not need a "new offense". That's a complete distraction. But it does make for a good excuse for another bad year of football.

"Well folks... we implemented a new offensive system... and that takes time. Our athletes are making the adjustments to a completely new scheme. There's always going to be a learning curve. We also have our coaches focused on recruiting the right athletes to the new offense. That takes time. We just need some more time. Don't let go of the rope. I think next year we'll buy a new rope. That was probably my fault. We needed a new rope. The other rope didn't have a good moisture wicking feature. It slipped a lot. We tried tweaking, bending and reshaping the old rope. It wasn't the coaches or players... it was the old rope. We need a new rope. One that has a tacky feel to it."

"We tried pushing on the rope, and we found out what everyone else has been saying: 'You can't push on a rope'. Only pulling on the rope from here on out..."
