Our program just looks soft and that's not the way Hud started out. Where are the 60# back packs and gas masks? We lost the two games before this embarrassment in the 4th quarter and that usually means the other team was in better condition. I can understand being out-coached and out-schemed much easier than being out conditioned. I mean you can be a poor X&O guy and lack creativity, but there's no reason your players shouldn't be in top shape. That's all on the coaches.
Time to get back to basics. Reboot the program. We need to get our MeauxJeaux back.

I expect an intense off-season. If certain guys can't deal with it, there's the door Nancy.

I agree with that, he was our best, hard guy to lose and of course he couldn't be replaced.

Great post. No way our OL can run the screen game or successfully pull on an outside run. Maybe that's why they never run McGuire outside. They are just too overweight and slow. Today was one of the worst OL performances I have ever seen.

Ya'll can get ready for Nixon next week and next year. When Hud gets it in his mind there is no changing it.

Lets save this post. No way this happens.

With the scheme that this coaching staff wants to run, you need a QB on the OL. We don't have that anymore. Blocking schemes today were horrible. Way to many times, the line were blocking the wrong guys and they let the free one in.

In post game Hud admitted this is the second year in a row he was outreached by App State as far as protecting our quarterbacks. He said that and a lot of other interesting introspective things.

He indicated it was not a staff problem, but he and they needed to rededicate, and rethink what they are doing. He said you tweak things until you cannot recognize who you are from who you want to be.

IMO this was the most candid Hud's been in any interview.

I didn't see the post game interview. Very happy to hear he is being introspective after this, his third loss in a row, in the SBC.

Where is this interview? Glad he said it though.

Soft and fat is a good way of putting it. Hopefully they ditch all the gimmicky bs and put that new weight room and nutrition center to use in the off season
