You can't run screens when the fat OL can't run; you can't stand in the pocket when the fat OL can't block quick DLinemen; you can't run the ball when the fat OL can't open holes. Not only are they overweight, they don't look very strong either. Our strength and conditioning coach needs to do a better job too!

Our program just looks soft and that's not the way Hud started out. Where are the 60# back packs and gas masks? We lost the two games before this embarrassment in the 4th quarter and that usually means the other team was in better condition. I can understand being out-coached and out-schemed much easier than being out conditioned. I mean you can be a poor X&O guy and lack creativity, but there's no reason your players shouldn't be in top shape. That's all on the coaches.

I don't know about all the bustle years I just remember when I began following the Cajuns again when daughter was in band in 2010 that the line was awful. I couldn't believe how bad they were. This year may be just as bad.

I think that injury did more damage to this team than anything else.

The OL was scrambled after that and losing his leadership scrambled the whole team mentally.

My thoughts exactly. Haven't seen them running the stadium steps lugging around 60 lbs of sand like they did in past.

Time to get back to basics. Reboot the program. We need to get our MeauxJeaux back.

I expect an intense off-season. If certain guys can't deal with it, there's the door Nancy.

I agree with that, he was our best, hard guy to lose and of course he couldn't be replaced.

Great post. No way our OL can run the screen game or successfully pull on an outside run. Maybe that's why they never run McGuire outside. They are just too overweight and slow. Today was one of the worst OL performances I have ever seen.

Ya'll can get ready for Nixon next week and next year. When Hud gets it in his mind there is no changing it.
