Didn't you read Huds lips when Jordan came off the field? He grabbed him by the shoulder pads and said, "OK Jordan, hit the play book and you will be the QB the rest of the season. I know it's only one game, but you are the one. So get ready. Nixon and Haack will be holding up the play cards on the side line".
I didn't watch 4th qtr... Glad Davis saved us from shut out. I'm not partial to any guy, but if he showed he can be a real dual threat, throw him in against Troy. i hope he does well and can step up next year to be the sole starter...then we can focus on getting some linemen that has more to offer than sheer size. These guys are slow and clumsy. Looking forward to last game next week. Hopefully bunch of bandwagon people fall off and I can upgrade my seats.
I think Haack holds on to the ball too long but its hard to evaluate him when no one blocks and the receivers cant seem to get open.
Seriously, it was garbage time, the score doesn't mean anything, but the playing time does for him.
I'm hopeful that some of the young lineman like Hunt, Marks, Dotson, and Prudhomme will pick up the offense quick and become contributors.
I have not seen this bad of an Offensive Line in many, many years. They weren't ever this bad in even the Bustle years.
