If you're coming to Boone ...

Thats class. Nice post. Im hoping to make it to Boone one year.

The memory of a losing season after years and years of winning is still fresh in App fans' minds. We know the feeling of wanting to put a bag over our heads. While this year has been a welcome change, I'm not sure we're out of the woods yet.

Boone is really a great little town. Without App State there's not much to it. It's a true college town. You'll be welcome there any time of year. Hope you'll make a football game one year.

Mrs. Raoul and I were on the Blue Ridge Parkway last month for the "leaf-turning." It was gorgeous and the people were great.

Hope you'll come back again soon. This is a wonderful place to live and work (unless you're in manufacturing). As the sweetie and I are fond of saying as we drive from here to there in the area and take in the gorgeous surroundings, "All this and eternal life, too?!?! What a life!"

I was on campus 3 weeks ago. Beautiful scenery with the leaves changing driving up from Lenoir.

Drove up to Boone yesterday, snow on top of Grandfather Mtn.

Anyone with an idea of what uni's the cajuns will wear Saturday? Its App state's Black Saturday, I hope we show up in those Kentucky Whites with the while helmet.

I've never been to Boone. But I've been in that area and it's really beautiful. It's definitely on my list in the future.
