If you're coming to Boone ...

I'm hoping some of you will join us in Boone for Saturday's game. The weather forecast right now is for mid-50's (quite balmy for us this time of year).

The first link shows the Yosef lots and lets you know where to find App fans who will treat you to tailgating fare. The second link shows the non-permit lots and what the various lots allow in the way of tailgating. Most folks recommend the Watauga Social Services lot (last one on the list).

Be sure to wear good walking shoes. There's nothing flat about Boone. We always joke that we really did walk to class uphill both ways!

For restaurants:
Cafe Portofino - lunch / dinner
Casa Rustica - dinner
Sunrise Grill - breakfast
(Other App fans chime in here, please)

Umbrellas are not allowed in the stadium, so bring your rain gear if there's any chance of rain.

Combine a tough year for UL with Thanksgiving weekend with students away from campus and you've got a recipe for an empty stadium. I'll be interested to see how many we have this weekend.

I've never been to Boone but been in the general area. It is an incredibly beautiful part of the country. Looking forward to the trip once day.

Thanks for your assistance, I was coming but Thanksgiving plans with relatives killed that for me . I heard from sources, it would be a great and scenic ride to your Campus.
