The game was on the line with a little less than two minutes to go against New Mexico State, and Louisiana had a chance to pull out a dramatic fourth-quarter win.

Instead, it ended with a dud.

New Mexico State linebacker Rodney Butler made a leaping interception of a Brooks Haack pass to end the Cajuns' hopes for a late rally and possibly their chances for a bowl game in a 37-34 loss Saturday at Cajun Field.
