What I see here is guys unable to get off blocks, not running to the ball, incapable of covering, unable to hold a block or to reach. You are going to have a hard time convincing me that these players are capable and are just tanking.
Agree. If players are slacking bc their boy got the boot, I would think it's only fair to not only blame Hudspeth, but to blame the character of said players who are butt hurt. .

I only saw us with a significant advantage in talent over one opponent this season, Northwestern State. Whether its attrition due to injury, dismissal, etc, I just don't see much disparity between ourselves and our conference mates. However, with better schemes, fundamentals, and discipline; we should still beat the likes of Akron, South Al, and NM St. this season. Most of us could at least be encouraged if we were 7-3 at this point with a chance to win a tough one at App St.

I don't think that was the point of his statement. Reality is, when the perception of someone in a high influence position (especially for young men) is shaken, your ability to continue to follow that leader the same way is tested. Once a player loses his "edge" for whatever reason, it affects a lot of things.

We'd be lucky to have Orgeron. That guy recruits his tail off and in the terms of building our program he would be an awesome next step. We could never afford him. Frankly, we can't compete for a guy like that. He may get the LSU gig, and if he doesn't, he'll wind up at another P5 gig.

He has absolutely zero chance of getting the LSU job.

Orgeron would be live last on any of my lists.

IMO he is poison for a program on NCAA violations. We will be under intense scrutiny already, have you guys forgotten he is generally viewed as a person who recruits at the boarder of legal and illegal. That's his rep true or not. Saunders had a rep and we ignored it to our everlasting detriment.
