I am sure that Coach Stringer would love to get this opportunity, but Monroe is a Coaches graveyard. No money, terrible facilities, The town of Monroe; not much to recruit to.

Personally, my money is on Chris Scelfo. He is unemployed, wants the job, is a ULM grad, and has had some success as a head coach.

How reasonable would it be for us to get rid of HUD and hire Orgeron from LSU?

We dont have the dough to do that. Not sure if Orgeron could be head coach material. He was awful at Hole Miss.

I am now convinced that this program is cursed and will never be a top notch g5 program. If someone can show me where history would prove me wrong please do so.

We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. Between ncaa problems and obvious locker room problems and no telling what else it has definitely affected this team and leadership

You want to use history to to predict the future? I'm not so sure that's the way to do it.

All I can say is think long term. USM, LaTech, A State, App State, etc. all had teams as bad as ours is this year one or two years ago. Nobody wins forever. Nobody sucks forever. Focus on what we're building. Focus on the tools we've added and are planning to add to help us succeed. I think we'll be fine.
