We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. Between ncaa problems and obvious locker room problems and no telling what else it has definitely affected this team and leadership

You want to use history to to predict the future? I'm not so sure that's the way to do it.

All I can say is think long term. USM, LaTech, A State, App State, etc. all had teams as bad as ours is this year one or two years ago. Nobody wins forever. Nobody sucks forever. Focus on what we're building. Focus on the tools we've added and are planning to add to help us succeed. I think we'll be fine.

Personally, my money is on Chris Scelfo. He is unemployed, wants the job, is a ULM grad, and has had some success as a head coach.
Maybe I missed the success at TooLAME. Very little success as a head coach.

With Rich Rodrigues sporting his new green blazer purchased for his being named the head coach, one of the great blunders of hiring happened---My S-in-law's brother and dad (Greenie players of the past) were mystified!!!

I was told something very interesting this weekend. Apparently, C.J. Bates was a very popular player with the guys. Some how or another, Hud showed him the door in a fashion that really rubbed the majority of the team the wrong way. Several things have followed this season, including the way the quarterback position was handled.

A lot of kids have lost respect for Hudspeth. We all thought he was losing the locker room about a month ago, but for different reasons. This made a lot of sense, and came from a recently graduated player, who still speaks to the team regularly.

Machiavelli in the locker room apparently is your cause for all our problems. We're simply in a bind, lack of FBS talent. That's on Hud.

Our season ended in part vbecause lacking talent at cornerback. We told our best corner finish the season on the scout team. Hooray maybe we should declare we're taking a bowling penalty this year.

According to everyone that knows what they're talking about, the talent is there. Talent without chemistry is useless. Chemistry without talent can still win games.

There's perhaps enough talent to have beaten South Al and NMSU, but this is not an overly talented team, especially in the trenches. Locker room issues don't make guys fat, slow and unable to block/rush the passer.
