Don't think that's accurate. The two 4pm kickoffs on the "Tres" were our decision. App plays most of their games at 2:30. 1pm isn't a big deal.

So then why did App State take so long to decide the time? Seems kind of strange your game time not settled until late in the season, almost always a television decision.

By the way, I'm fine with whatever time the game is and early in the afternoon is great for the mountains, but why the delay? Why did we take so long to announce ours as well.

You're seeing that more and more for whatever reason. And, honestly I don't know what the reason is.

In our case, we were debating between 4 and 6. We've done that more than once late in the season the past few years.

But for some reason, some schools choose not to announce kickoff times until 12 days out. I do know, in some cases, they're waiting to see when kickoff time will be for the "bigger" school before setting their times.

But that's not the case with us. Or App, even though UT isn't that far away.
