On paper they are not a good matchup, but I hope for the best. But hey, I'm will to bet a good meal.

i think they are referencing the conference you put down.

they play in the ACC not the big east.

Haha I was referencing that they are in acc not big east.

The bigs are going to be hard to matchup with but if we can get one of them in foul trouble and we can knock down the 3 ball I really like our chances.

So, like, if we can score more than they do... I mean like a LOT more, then, well... we might have a shot? LOL

Edited to add: Damn. Should've taken that bet before RP opened their big mouths. $$$$$$

Okay, so the disqualifier is the conference? LOL!!! I hope I'm wrong, but Alabama looks to be a better matchup for the Cajuns. My offer is still on the table, Big East or ACC.

I saw the same old Bob Marlin team last night. Ton of talent but way to many mistakes due to trying to play to fast and poor fundamentals. When will we have a team that can shoot free throws? That is the one thing that kills me the most. If you are good enough to play in college, you should be able to shoot 70+% free throws.

I saw a team play pretty well against a bigger, faster, more talented team. IMO the team was a little overwhelmed early in the game and was guilty of forced and unforced turnovers. The Canes were lights out on their threes. Seems we always have teams shoot great threes when we play them.

As many know I've held Marlin to a very high standard, and still do. Last night we played a team better than us in almost every area. It's mostly a talent gap plus match ups.

We're fine. We have a chance to be a 13 seed which gets us a 4 seed.

I am not sure how these refs call touch fouls, then a player gets hammered going to the rim and it is a no call.

Anyway great day to be working from home and watching some college hoops. It is the most wonderful time of the year.

Regarding free throws. We shot a high percentage in the two home games last week. Last night was a game in which there is pressure to make them. That requires increased focus and mental toughness. It is not an ability issue. I agree with Express in that our opponent last night was simply more talented than we. That does not mean we could not beat them on a neutral court. They would have to shot a normal percentage for that to occur however.

10 minutes left in the game and Dayton opens up a 27 point lead, Dayton 61 Alabama 34
