This is just a wild guess, but I have a feeling the plates were designed by the LA DMV and zero ****s were given about branding.

I have had multiple conversations about the flames with people in the know and I have been told the yellow/orange is suppose to be removed. What I was told was we couldn't change everything at once. I totally disagree and voiced my opinion. In my opinion this is why we continue to see the mustard yellow and orange items coming out. Remove all colors not vermilion, white, grey or black. Before anyone shouts that black and grey are not school colors, use them only for accent colors. We have to remove yellow/orange and green from ALL logos.

The future is now we have to stop wasting time!

If one trades in their plate, do they get to keep the old one? If so, I will offer to purchase the old one from anyone who trades theirs in. I do not plan on using it on a vehicle, I have a plan to use it to build a musical instrument.
