Thread: New UL Plates

    Default New UL Plates

I think I prefer the old ones. Opinions?

(But regardless, she is in violation of the lsu law....displaying only one L....hope the ltu-R folks don't hear about this, as they will have her thrown in jail for such a seriously illegal and unethical display. lol)

Hey Stool, Blue and Germ tell your BDB&B friends that always talk about suing UL over the illegal name usage they will now have to sue the state of La DMV also. Looking forward to your melt down when y'all see this state made license plate.

Tell me if it's illegal would the state of the Louisiana produce the plate?

Threse are great! If you want to expand the brand and the name, this is a great way to do it. The DMV is going to get some angry letters from people the "don't care." I love it.

Not a "@Lafayette" in sight on the plate.....this will surely rate a pic and post on that idioctic and infantile sticky thread they have going on at the ltu-R site.

I had immediately got one of the old ones when I saw the "@Lafayette" was so tiny, and located at the very bottom, that it is virtually invisible....so that's a great look too. But gotta say I am loving this one more and more.....I just wish they'd use the logo that I have as my avatar, as it is cleaner and just better overall, IMHO.

I wonder if they will require us turn in the old ones? Or let us get a new one, but keep the same number we currently have??

I'll do some research and let you guys know what I find out.

I think I'll stick with my old one and the fleur de lis. I'm really surprised they went with the hot wheels logo. Thought we were doing our best to get rid of that thing.

If someone does want to change I understand that you can keep your number.

    1) The Louisiana at the top is not because of the school name, it's the state the car is registered in.
    2) She looks so familiar to me...

Apparently Tech can't get a license plate approved so they did the next best thing....

    Wrong!

UL got the whole State to carry Louisiana on all plates.

Oh just more documentation for Tech's "lawsuit". I'm due for the dreaded exam in the next year or so, I'll ask my doc to contact Ruston to get the hot air to inflate my colon since it's free.

Nice plate, it's out there for all to see, hot wheels logo or not.

What is this fascination with the hot wheels logo? It's too tight and has yellow and funky fonts. Why can't we get rid of this thing?
