Thread: 2015-16 LOUISIANA Basketball Season is underway

    Default Fouls (38)

    38 fouls in a HALF.

    38.

38 FOULS in a half that took an HOUR to play. Yes, a 20 minute college basketball half took 60 minutes to play.

The refs are messing up the game. Not fun to watch! Stop calling the ticky tack fouls that don't give anyone an advantage or don't change the outcome.

MANY of the 23 fouls on LC and 15 on Cajuns were ticky tack.

    Torture!

Let them play BASKETBALL! I didn't come to watch a ref blow a whistle every 30 seconds and watch a free throw shooting contest...

How about 24 from LC picking up his 4th with 2 min left in the 1st half?

Brutal to watch games like that

Refs were terrible, however the Cajuns look really impressive and will be very good this season, especially with the shortened shot clock.

Hedgeman looks very talented and athletic. With the ability of Jay Wright to push the ball up the floor and the forwards to run the lanes in transition, we should be a very, very good offensive team.

    Looking forward to this season!!!!!

It's the new rules, supposedly done to free up space and increase scoring. 59 total fouls in the game. 59 fouls. LC 68 points.

Bright side, get out Hedgeman's way if he's headed to the basket, it's getting thrown down.

I was very impressed... But it was just LC. Looking forward to seeing what they can do Monday vs. Miami.

    Any local TV?

  6. UL Basketball Lessons learned as Cajuns prevail

UL — Within a 40-point season-opening win, the Louisiana men's basketball team saw some early lessons contribute to a gradual scoring spurt.

The Ragin' Cajuns turned a 14-point halftime lead into a 108-68 victory over Division III ...

The crowd was not bad considering what else is going on around the area.

  8. Default Ragin' Cajuns Run Past Wildcats In Season Opener, 108-68

Devonta Walker came off the bench to post his second career double-double, scoring a team-high 17 points and grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds to lead the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns past in-state opponent Louisiana College, 108-68, in the season-opener on Friday at the Cajundome._

---What's up with Register??? Shoots as much as Lamar it seems--Every time he touches it he jacks it----I start Hedgeman, Long, Wright, Wash or Devanta, and Shepherd---Tiremone is proving to be the real deal, and Stove, Wooten can play---Scottie P needs to get some playing time to see if he can help with his size--Damn he gets a lot of fouls called on him!!! I am worried like last year that we have too many guys that will sub!!!

Boom Hayward is going to start for us. Just allows him to get in the rhythm of the game better. We need Kasey to come off the bench to give us some minutes at the 1. Also hedgeman is the perfect off the bench guy, I rather him in that role
